Stat Priority Comparator
Two affixes, one reroll token. Enter your current stats and both candidate affixes — get the marginal damage gain of each, computed on your exact build.
How it works
gain of +X in a bucket = X ÷ current bucket value additive bucket = 1 + additive%/100 crit bucket = 1.5 + critBonus%/100
The comparator computes each option's multiplier delta on your current numbers — the honest version of "which stat should I stack". Assumptions: methodology.
FAQ
What is marginal gain?
The percent increase in expected damage from one specific change, computed on your current stats. Because buckets multiply, the same +X% is worth more in a bucket that's currently small — the comparator computes exactly that.
Why does additive damage score lower than crit damage?
Additive affixes share one bucket, so they suffer diminishing returns as the bucket grows; crit and vulnerable have their own buckets. Late in a build, +10% additive often moves expected damage ~2–4% while +10% crit damage moves it proportionally more.
Should I just always pick the bigger number?
No — always pick the bigger marginal gain, which depends on what you already have. That's the entire point of this tool.
